WEB & APP DEVELOPMENT
Hello,
I am Lukas, a proficient Frontend // Full-Stack Developer.
My passion for technology has been ingrained in me from a young age, as I authored my initial lines of code at the age of 14 to automate processes within a video game. My creative flair and steadfast determination enable me to excel in my development pursuits. Currently, my professional expertise is concentrated on mastering Javascript / Typescript with React and Node.js frameworks.
It would be my pleasure to apply my skills and inquisitive mindset towards the successful delivery of your Project.

AIR POLLUTION CHARTS 2022
Frontend Github
Introducing Air Pollution Charts - a personal project and tech challenge I took on to explore the possibilities of React, Node, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Using these powerful tools, I built a platform that provides real-time global air pollution data through rich and interactive data visualizations using a REST API.
The platform incorporates Plotly, a versatile data visualization library that offers a wide range of chart types, from basic line graphs to 3D visualizations. I've also utilized react-spring technology to enhance animations and provide a seamless user experience.
DRAVO 2021
Frontend Github - Backend Github
I collaborated with two skilled developers on a Beekeeper Network project for a small startup. As a key figure, I created the project's Mockups in Figma and spearheaded the development of the leaderboard using Javascript / React functional components. I also created a robust REST API with Express.js, MySQL, and designed a complex SQL query to solve the leaderboard compartment logic. The project was deployed on my personally maintained Linux vServer for seamless internal communication. We used agile methodologies in Jira, Git/Github, and planned our Sprints using Scrum to achieve our project goals effectively.
MOVIE MASTERS 2021
I have developed MovieMasters, a compact yet robust Movie Database Application for both Android and iOS platforms, built using cutting-edge technologies like React Native/Expo and GraphQL, utilizing JS/Typescript. With the implementation of GraphQL-powered external Movie Database, the App provides seamless movie search functionality. Additionally, I have integrated AsyncStorage to empower users to save their favorite movies and exclude movies from future searches with ease.
TRIVIA NIGHT 2021
Deployed Version - Github Repository
In embarking on our second project at Wild Code School Bootcamp, our team of skilled developers opted for the development of a Quiz platform. Our primary objective was to create a user-friendly application that could test and enhance the knowledge of users while also allowing us to explore React's capabilities in fetching APIs, utilizing Hooks, and integrating react-spring animations. My primary focus was on the JavaScript Logic, particularly on the Quiz Core, Quiz Selection, and Joker Function. I also played an integral role in the development of the platform's visual presentation, handling a significant portion of the CSS.
CODING CONJUROR 2021
Deployed Version - Github Repository
As a cohort of three at the Wild Code School Bootcamp, we were tasked with selecting our maiden project. We aimed to create a gratifying JavaScript learning experience for novice web developers. Our approach was to fuse the realms of enchantment and programming via a pixel art-based game. We deliberately avoided the use of React and opted for unprocessed DOM Manipulation to grasp the fundamentals of contemporary frameworks and libraries.

LUKAS KREIBIG
WEB & APP DEVELOPMENT
Hello there!
I’m Lukas, a Frontend // Full-Stack Developer.
I have always been tech-savvy, having written my first lines of code at 14 years old to automate tasks in my favorite computer game and setting up my first Linux vServer when I was 16.
Today I live and breathe Javascript with React / React Native on both the front end and back end. I also master building REST APIs with Express.js and SQL while following a SCRUM methodology. My last employer was a Cloud-Native Company where I learned how to work with AWS and GraphQL. I find pleasure in creating all kinds of Animations. My keen eye for beauty and design composition helps me how to mock-up a project and follow through on it and deliver a final product that turns a Client into a happy returning customer.
My strongest assets are my curiosity and hunger to expand my knowledge and I'm always willing to go the extra mile.

DRAVO
Frontend Github - Backend Github
I worked with two other Developers on a Beekeeper Network for our client, a small Startup. We started from scratch. I was a key figure in creating the Mockups in Figma and responsible for the Leaderboard. I used React functional components. I created a REST API using an MVC pattern with Express.js in Node.js and a MySQL database. The main challenge was the intricated SQL query for solving the leaderboard compartment logic. The project is internally deployed on my own maintained Linux vServer. Our team uses agile methods in Jira, Git / Github for collaboration and we planned our Sprints using Scrum methodology.
MOVIE MASTERS
I created MovieMasters, a small, self-made Movie Database App for Android and iOS (recommended) built with React Native / Expo and GraphQL using JS / Typescript and Async Storage. I implemented a search for Movies, which uses an external Movie Database (GraphQL). It is possible to save your Favourites in your App through AsyncStorage and it is also possible to hide Movies from Future Searches.
TRIVIA NIGHT
When setting out to create our second project at Wild Code School Bootcamp, our team of four developers decided to go for a Quiz. Our mission: Testing the knowledge of the user and, at the same time, expanding our knowledge on React for fetching an API, using Hooks and react-spring animations. I was mainly responsible for the JavaScript Logic in this project and worked on the Quiz Core, Quiz Selection, and Joker Function but also did a lot of CSS.
CODING CONJUROR
When our group of three at the Wild Code School Bootcamp had to decide for our first project, our vision was to design a fun experience for those taking their very first steps into learning JavaScript for Web Development. That's why we decided on bringing together the worlds of magic and coding into a pixel art-themed game. No React allowed, just raw and unfiltered DOM Manipulation - to learn and understand the JavaScript behind modern frameworks and libraries.
YEARS BEFORE:
PHOTOJOURNALISM
Before I started my journey as a developer, I worked for several years as an award-winning Photographer for international magazines such as National Geographic, Washington Post, CNN, stern, esquire China and GEO France. My work was also internationally exhibited. This experience grew my resilience to handle pressure, and my ability to remain focused. I developed a keen eye for composition in general and how to please the expectations of a client. Photography is and will be still an important part of my life.
